So, how did the “PRAY NOW. PRAY MORE.” wristbands come into existence?
It began when I found myself wanting to spend more time with God and wanting to bring Him into more of my day. I had used different reminder devices in the past, but I wanted something that I could wear every day and everywhere. It was from this desire that God led me to make some prayer reminder wristbands. People liked them so much, and they helped them grow closer to God, so we made more and more!
There is a powerful principle behind continual prayer. The Bible says, “pray without ceasing;” (1 Thess 5:17) This means to pray uninterruptedly or without any gaps. The word ‘ceasing’ in Greek is Adialeiptos. The direct translation of this word is “without any channel through which failure can occur.” What happens in the gaps between our prayers? Temptation happens in the gaps. Fear happens in the gaps. Anger happens in the gaps. Stress happens in the gaps.
Prayer changes our heart, our attitude, and our focus. The Bible says, “for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matt 6:21). When we spend more of our time with God, more of our heart will be with Him. So, don’t stop praying. Don’t say amen! PRAY NOW. PRAY MORE!
